Dr. Skulavik also has a special interest in vestibular-related conditions and completed the Balance for Life Vestibular program in 2010. Since then he enjoys evaluating and treating patients who suffer from vertigo and balance deficiencies.
“My professional goal has always been to open a private PT practice, giving patients the individualized attention and care that they deserve. When I relocated to North Carolina, I instantly knew that this is where I was going to live and raise my children. The personal relationships that I have been able to form both within and outside the medical community have been uplifting, and I look forward to many more years of providing the highest level of physical therapy care”
Dr. Skulavik is a Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), OSPT, and SPTS since 2003. His hobbies include spending time with his family and dogs, and bodybuilding as he is an all natural OCB Pro Physique competitor. He attends Colonial Baptist Church with his wife Patricia, a physician assistant with North Carolina Heart & Vascular Associates, and his two children.
