Tanya Harrison, PTA, discovered her passion for physical therapy during her junior year of high school. A native of Virginia, she relocated to North Carolina with her husband several years ago to further her career in physical therapy.

Tanya earned her AAS in the Physical Therapist Assistant program from Wytheville Community College in Wytheville, VA, in 1996. She has extensive experience working in various settings and with diverse age groups. However, her primary interest lies in working with adults in outpatient and rehabilitation hospital settings. Additionally, she holds a BS in Health Sciences with a minor in Management from Old Dominion University in Virginia.

Outside of her professional life, Tanya has a blended family that includes five children and three grandchildren. As empty nesters and grandparents, Tanya and her husband enjoy spending quality time with their family. Tanya's hobbies include camping, crafting, reading, traveling, and thrifting/antique shopping with her family. Their household is completed by their beloved dogs and cats, who keep them entertained now that their children are grown.
