William Carey, Physical Therapist Assistant
William Carey is a Physical Therapist Assistant who has been practicing since 2016, working in multiple settings, ranging from in-patient care to the homes of his patients. These years of care as a therapist were preceded as a PT tech, assisting with the paperwork and behind the scenes aspects involved with patient care, granting him the opportunity to appreciate a more full spectrum of health care. Even still, William has spent a large portion of his life in the therapy world, as his father is a physical therapist and would consistently bring William to work, exposing him to many different people and the manners of how different ages and backgrounds would respond to injuries and ailments. This allowed William the opportunity to have a better understanding of how someone might live with pain and the importance of guiding patients through a proper movement of exercises and the benefits that strong and effective communication can have on recovery. In his free time, William enjoys listening to podcasts, playing sports and reading both fiction and non-fiction, as well as discussing mythology and folk tales.
